A Masonic Ultra Marathon

On 6 April 2012 Bro. Karl Hopton of Broadstone Lodge No 8641 will be competiting in a Masonic themed Ultra Marathon. An Ultra Marathon is any running event that has a distance greater than the traditional 26.2 miles Marathon.
Karl is an experienced Ultra Marathon runner and decided to design his own course which could incorporate a number of Masonic buildings en route. All monies raised will go towards the 2014 RMBI Dorset Festival.
On the day of the run the Provincial Grand Master of Dorset will send Karl on his way and for the first few miles, Karl will be accompanied by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master.
Every penny raised through the 2014 RMBI Dorset Festival will be spent for the benefit of our Residents.
