Volunteer The RMBI is
hugely reliant on volunteers to help provide services in and around its
17 homes. You can help by:
Volunteering at your local Care
Home
Each RMBI Home has an Association of Friends,
organised by local Freemasons and their families. Activity is focused
around fundraising events such as garden fetes as well as providing
practical assistance to staff and befriending individual residents.
This support is very highly valued and offers of
help will be warmly welcomed. Contact the
Home Manager of your local Home, who will put you in touch with the
Association of Friends.
Joining
the Friends of the RMBI
By joining the
Friends of the RMBI you will be supporting the Good Neighbour Fund.
Inviting an RMBI speaker to your event
The RMBI can provide a speaker for your Lodge
meeting as well as supplying display boards for open days and other
events. We also encourage others to join us in spreading the word and
training will be given to help you prepare.
We can provide speakers notes and other
promotional material such as:
-
Our Homes Guide
-
RMBI News
-
Annual Review
Our large display boards (approximately 8ft
wide by 8ft 6ins high) are an excellent addition to an open day.
