Cadogan Court Rededication - 8 October 2005

On Saturday 8 October, the Earl Cadogan officially declared the new wing at Cadogan Court open.

The residents, guests, VIPs and staff gathered in the marquee to see the Earl Cadogan unveil the plaque to commemorate the occasion. RMBI President John Moore, RMBI Chief Executive Peter Gray and Home Manager Katharine Fender spoke of the need to make more efficient use of the area within the Home and explained how the new improvements will do this and benefit the residents. The hard work of the staff at Cadogan Court and the Association of Friends was recognised and much appreciated. The photo to the right shows RMBI President John Moore and the Earl Cadogan with the rededication plaque.

Evelyn Weightman has been at the Home since it opened in 1987 and she was present on the day. Ms Weightman and the other residents were joined in the residents lounge by the Earl Cadogan, RMBI President John Moore,  RMBI Chairman Chris Caine, RMBI Chief Executive Peter Gray and other VIPs for lunch.

More information on the day is included in the press release.
