Scarbrough Court opened by Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra

Residents, staff and guests enjoyed a lovely day on Wednesday 17 September, when the new Scarbrough Court Home in Cramlington was officially opened by Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy KG GCVO.
Staff at Scarbrough Court were pleased to welcome Her Royal Highness back to the Home, 41 years after she also opened the original Home.
Caroline Edden, Home Manager of Scarbrough Court, says, “Imagine the delight, that 41 years after the initial opening of the Home by Her Royal Highness, the Hon Lady Ogilvy, Her Royal Highness graciously accepted an invitation to return and open the new Scarbrough Court. We all had a lovely day and were very proud to show off the new Home with its wonderful facilities.”
The day was also attended by children from the local Primary School who took great pleasure in meeting Her Royal Highness.
