Cliff started his career in Freemasonry in 1951, aged 22 after being inspired by the headmaster of his school. He went on to achieve the rank of Third Provincial Grand Principal in The Holy Royal Arch Chapter and was one of the founding members of Mitre Chapter in York. Asked about the highlight of his masonic career Mr Jones maintains it was becoming Master of his own Lodge.
On congratulating Dr Jones on his achievements in Freemasonry the Deputy PGM added ‘Cliff is a true gentleman'.
On an enjoyable and memorable day Dr Jones was joined by his daughter and son-in-law.
A buffet lunch was enjoyed by all those present after the presentation.
