Care Advice Team
The RMBI has a team of Care Advice Visitors who cover the whole of England and Wales, and who know a great deal about health and welfare rights and benefits. The Team visit people in their own homes, or may speak to someone via telephone and post out information.
There are six Care Advice Visitors, each covering an area within England and Wales. Each Visitor is knowledgeable and experienced in the care sector. The Care Advice Visitors come from a range of backgrounds including care home management, mental health and community services.
The Team give advice on how to apply for residency in an RMBI Home, how this could be financed and may also carry out pre-admission assessments. They can also give advice on all aspects of the services offered by the RMBI, the other Masonic charities and by statutory and voluntary agencies.
"Your care team are very professional, caring and attentive. Well done!"
The Team also advise on the other services the RMBI provides such as home improvement loans and holidays both in the UK and overseas.
Every case is treated in the strictest confidence, with sympathy, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity. The Team support vulnerable people whose trust and confidence is respected.

The Team also work closely with Lodge Almoners. They are available to accompany home visits, offer support as needed and to make visits for Almoners who may be worried about the welfare of someone they know. In addition, the Care Advice Team also attend Lodge meetings, coffee mornings, fellowship groups and are able to give talks on behalf of the RMBI.
