David Innes, Chief ExecutiveDavid Innes joined the RMBI as Chief Executive in May 2008. His previous appointment was at Canterbury Cathedral where he set up the Cathedral's £50 million Global Fundraising Appeal, raising over £7.5million in two years. Prior to that he enjoyed thirty-four years in the Army as a military engineer, rising to the rank of Brigadier and the position of Engineer-in-Chief. During his military career he deployed on several operations, and worked on construction and humanitarian aid projects in many parts of the world. He also enjoyed several years at the Ministry of Defence working on strategic planning, finance, equipment, Human Resources and training issues. He endeavours to use the knowledge and experience gained from all these different experiences for the benefit of the RMBI. |

Kevin Harris, Executive Director of Care OperationsKevin Harris has over thirty years experience in the Healthcare sector and joined the RMBI in November 1992 as a Regional Manager covering six Homes. His present role, Executive Director of Care Operations was created in 2000. In this capacity, Kevin manages the care provision in RMBI Homes with the responsibility for ensuring that our Homes and the Care Advice Team provide a range of services that meet a diverse range of needs as well as ensuring that the care provision offered meets the regulatory standards. Kevin has a pivotal role in steering the RMBI through the changes in the sector to ensure future care provision meets changing demands and standards. |

Christopher Head, Executive Director of FinanceChristopher Head joined the RMBI in 2002 after a short interim appointment with the charity. Prior to that Chris spent twenty-three years in the Army, serving in the Royal Artillery and Royal Army Pay Corps. Other roles held include Director of Accountancy at Business Group overseeing post qualifying training for chartered accountants and Director of Operations at Marakon in Dallas USA. At the RMBI Chris is responsible for the financial management and administration of the charity. |
Andrew White, Director of PropertiesAndrew White joined the RMBI in January 2003 and is responsible for making sure that the RMBI's property portfolio are properly maintained to provide an attractive environment for existing and potential residents and are refurbished to a high standard. Furthermore, his team work to ensure that RMBI properties are compliant with all legislation. Prior to working at the RMBI Andrew spent seven years in the Navy and then retrained and entered the Property World, where he has held a variety of roles in General Practice, with a particular focus on property development in all sectors. |

Jo Ashton, Director of Human ResourcesJo joined the RMBI in June 2005 as a regional HR Manager, responsible for the day-to-day staff issues across six RMBI Homes. In August 2007 she moved into her current role as Director of Human Resources, leading the HR team. Her key responsibilities are to contribute to the delivery of the RMBI strategic goals with particular focus on developing and delivering a HR strategic plan and support services to ensure the RMBI attract, train and retain competent and efficient staff to care for our residents. Prior to joining the RMBI, Jo held senior HR Manager posts in a range of sectors and is particularly proud of delivering a HR strategy which enabled the organisations to achieve IiP recognition and ISO 9000 accreditation, along with a clear framework and improved working environment for all staff. Jo is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). |
