During the night, there are seven experienced carers and a Senior Carer, supervised by a Shift Leader in the residential and dementia areas. Our residents in the nursing area are supported by two experienced carers and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care. There is always a Registered Nurse on shift who oversees the safe and effective care delivered by our staff.
All our residents’ rooms are equipped with a 24-hour nurse call system. Some of the residents have a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance if required.
Additionally, we have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside the Home. They support our residents’ health and wellbeing.
We have staff who are fluent Filipino, Romanian, Polish and Spanish speakers.
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.
