Explore our ratingPurpose built in 1977, Ecclesholme is set in beautiful grounds in a peaceful residential area in Eccles, Manchester. The Home provides mainly residential dementia support, alongside residential care, for up to 50 residents.
Our staff team at Ecclesholme have an average of seven years length of service and we have Medication, Dysphasia, Oral Care and Infection Control champions.

Ecclesholme can support up to 50 resident in the residential area of our Home. We have a dedicated care team consisting of 12 carers on duty and three Shift Leaders during the day. They are allocated to each floor of the Home to support our residents with their daily needs. During the night there are six carers on duty including one Shift Leader.
Our Care Team are NVQ trained and we also have a dedicated Home Trainer who ensures staff receive the most up to date training.
In addition, we have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms as well bed and floor alert mats as necessary.
We have a GP practice who is dedicated to care homes only and visits the Home on a weekly basis. We also have district Nurses who visits the Home on a daily basis.
We have access to dietitians, bowel and bladder services, chiropody service, occupational therapists and a falls team.
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care.
