In our Dementia Support House, we can care for up to 20 people with four carers on duty during the day with a Shift Leader supervising.
During the night, the Home is supported by a Shift Leader and seven staff, who have the same level of training and induction as our day teams.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.
We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms.
We have a dedicated Activities Coordinator who organises a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.
We also have staff who are fluent Polish speakers.
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.
