In our Dementia Support House, we can care for up to 27 people with eight carers on duty during the day and three carers at night.
There are four day Shift leaders, working on a rota system, who oversee the daily management of the Home and one Shift Leader at night.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.
We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms. Some of the residents have a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance if required.
We have three dedicated part-time Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.
