Shannon Court can support up to 30 people in the residential area which is split across three areas, with up to 10 residents in each. We have two experienced carers during the day on each floor, supported by a Shift Leader, and one carer at night.
In our Dementia Support House, we can care for up to 23 people across two areas. One of the areas can support up to 10 people with three experienced carers during the day, and two at night. The other area supports people with more advanced dementia has four carers during the day, supported by a Shift Leader and two carers at night.
Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care.
We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms.
We have two dedicated Activities Coordinators who organise a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.
We have staff who are fluent Polish speakers.
Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.
