Campaigns in 2016

In 2016, we had four campaigns that our Homes took part in and organised various activities and events around these themes. Our first theme was Creativity & the Arts (Jan - Mar), the second theme was Animals & Nature (Apr - Jun), the third theme was based around Health & Wellbeing (Jul - Sept) and the final one around Food & Nutrition (Oct - Dec). 

Food & Nutrition: October - December 2016

Food plays an important role in our care homes, from bringing people together at mealtimes to fun-filled activities like baking competitions and tea parties. From October to December 2016 we focused on all things food & nutrition. See some of our events and activities below:

Health & Wellbeing: July - September 2016

Keeping fit and healthy plays an important part in our Homes and from July to September we focused on everything that supports the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff. Read on below to see which activities took place:

Animals & Nature: April - June 2016

During spring time, we focused our activities on getting outside and engaging with animals and nature. Our residents love meeting animals and enjoyed activities such as gardening, trips to the sea side and farm visits. A selection of what happened can be found below:

Creativity & the Arts: January - March 2016

In the first three months of the year we have been celebrating the arts and our Homes have organised a great variety of creative and art based events and activities that our residents engaged in. Below is just a short summary of what happened:
