On Friday, 12 February, the residents at Prince Michael of Kent Court in Watford enjoyed a creative workshop making artwork from clay.
Activities Coordinator Tracy Lydon said: "We never used clay before with the residents and the workshop was a great success. Some of our residents got very engaged in making little figurines, hearts for their loved ones, or animals. Even some residents who don't often like to join in the activities got involved and had a lot of fun. In a few days when the clay has dried we will be painting the artwork and our residents are keen to see what their products will look like in colour."
Supported by the Home's Activities Coordinators Tracy and Kelly, the residents got very creative and spent the morning busily forming the clay and inventing shapes. Prince Michael of Kent Court hosts regular creative sessions for residents, which support their wellbeing.
