With the Olympic spirit in the air, residents and staff at James Terry Court in South Croydon held their own Olympics last week at the Home.
Residents enjoyed taking part in and watching a range of Olympic sports, including discus, darts, beanbag throwing, and skittles. Staff competed in an egg and spoon race, a hug a balloon game and a balloon race.
Activities Coordinator Carol Roberts said: “Residents had a great time getting active, taking part in, or cheering on the competitors. At James Terry Court we regularly organise activities that help residents health and wellbeing.”
Medals for the winners were handed out during an Olympic tea ceremony on Monday, 8 August.
