James Terry Court residents mark Burns Night

02 February 2018

Staff and residents at James Terry Court in South Croydon have celebrated Burns Night with a traditional meal at the Home.

Guests were treated to a Burn’s themed supper to celebrate the famous poet’s birthday on 25 January, including haggis, whiskey and a whiskey trifle, followed by a performance by local entertainer Polly Raymond, who came to sing for residents.

“Our residents always enjoy being part of our annual tradition of the piping and addressing of the haggis. It gives residents a chance to come together and celebrate this well loved tradition with their friends at the Home,” says Activities Coordinator Carol Roberts.
