Scarbrough Court in Cramlington held its annual summer fair on Saturday, 7 July, raising over £1,000.
The summer fair saw a number of stalls and entertainment taking place on the Home's grounds on Alexandra Way. There was a tombola, grand raffle and face painting for residents, families and staff to take part in, as well as a selection of delicious hot bacon and sausage buns, and home made cakes prepared and donated by family members and the Home's chef James. Families, volunteers and the Cramlington Scouts team helped run the event smoothly.
Activities Coordinator Stacey Hunter said: "The day was a huge success with a healthy profit that will go towards supporting residents' activities. We had a number of guests visit and residents thoroughly enjoyed mingling with family, friends and the local community. We would like to thank everyone who helped make the day a fantastic event and raising over £1,010 for the Home."
