Located in a beautiful area of Kent, Prince George Duke of Kent Court lies in leafy Chislehurst, a town with a rich history that stretches back to the Saxon age. We provide residential care, nursing and dementia support for up to 78 residents.

We want you to feel right at home with us. Here at Prince George Duke of Kent Court, you will have a spacious, fully furnished bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a specialist team to support your care needs.

Prince George Duke of Kent Court can support up to 52 people in the residential area of our Home and we have eight experienced carers during the morning and afternoon, as well as a senior carer. During the night, there are three carers and all shifts are supervised by a Shift Leader.

Our nursing area can support up to 25 people and is managed by a Registered Nurse, who leads six carers during the day and a senior carer and three carers at night.

Most of our care staff have achieved, or are working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care. A Clinical Lead Nurse is also available and oversees the safe and effective care delivered by our staff.

We have a 24-hour nurse call system installed in all our residents’ rooms and each person has a personal alarm to carry, so they can call for assistance when they are around the Home or out and about.

We have a dedicated Activities Coordinator who organises a variety of activities as well as trips outside of the Home, to support our residents’ health and wellbeing.

Please note that the level of care each person receives will depend on their individual care needs. This is continuously monitored and reviewed to ensure each person receives the right level of care. Staffing levels may be adjusted in different areas of the Home to support the level of care required by residents at any particular point in time.

We are committed to giving our residents and their relatives a voice and encourage families to provide feedback on the quality of our services.

We actively promote residents and relatives forums and regularly carry out satisfaction surveys that are benchmarked to the industry to ensure that we continue to improve and develop our services to meet people’s needs and expectations. This includes taking part in Your Care Rating, the country’s largest and most authoritative survey of care home residents and we are delighted to be part of this initiative.

The nationwide survey gives residents a voice, putting their care at the heart of understanding more about how well care homes perform.  The survey also provides helpful insights into the experiences of people using our service and we have used this information to help us continually improve as an organisation.

Alongside the Your Care Rating survey of residents, we also conduct our own annual survey through an independent research company Ipsos MORI for all relatives of residents.

Recent results from our annual national survey show that 100% of residents at Prince George Duke of Kent Court are happy with the care and support they receive.
