Learning and Development

We encourage all employees to undertake the training and development they need to perform effectively in their role, and make sure that staff are motivated and are provided with the opportunity to develop their careers within RMBI Care Co.

This covers all RMBI Care Co. employees, including part-time, bank and fixed term contract employees.

Mandatory training

There are currently a range of mandatory training elements which must be undertaken by certain job roles at the start of employment and refreshers repeated at prescribed intervals.

QCF Diplomas (Formally known as National Vocational Qualifications)

We actively promote the completion of QCF Diplomas for care staff.  These are required by staff to be able to fulfil certain levels of care roles within RMBI Care Co.

On the job development

Where appropriate, employees are encouraged to learn additional skills and take on additional responsibilities through working with their line manager and/or other colleagues throughout RMBI Care Co.

In-house and external training

From regular refresher courses designed to keep you up-to-date with best practice, new thinking and emerging techniques, to skills training that will enable you to take the next step up the ladder, we'll give you all the tools you need to grow at your own pace.

Training and developing skills is strongly encouraged and supported at RMBI Care Co.
